2026 Fall Girls on the Run and STRIDE Programs

Girls on the Run and STRIDE are life-changing, interactive learning programs that use the power of running to inspire pre-teen girls and boys for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy lifestyles. Through activities such as running, playing games, and discussing important issues the program encourages positive emotional, social, mental, spiritual and physical development. Coaches will guide and mentor teens through a fun and uplifting curriculum while participants train together to walk or run a 5K event.

Below is the current schedule for our FALL Girls on the Run/STRIDE season:
8/22-9/19:           On-time Registration    [NOTE SCHOOLS OPEN THEIR REGISTRATION, so most will open closer to when school starts]
9/12 or 9/26:       Coaches Meeting and Free Coaches Training
9/21-9/25:           Practices Start [*Note we are a big council so your particular team may have a slightly different schedule.]
9/30:                   Registration for Fall Season Closes
10/12-10/16:       Program shirts are distributed at practice.

2027 SUMMER CAMPS

CAMP GOTR is a one of a kind camp.  This camp goes along with our GOTR curriculum from our Spring and Fall program (but not required).  This camp is designed for our 3rd, 4th and 5th graders.  Spend a week building friendships, exploring their creativity and playing fun games that keep them moving with our GOTR Coach and YMCA Athletics Staff.  Full day campers receive 1 hour of swimming in our pools.
