For more than 50 years, Camp Kirkwood has been a place for campers to enjoy the classic summer camp experience. Campers are immersed in the beauty of God’s breath-taking natural world beyond modern life distractions. They will be encouraged to explore the outdoors and participate in new and exciting adventures each and every day. A typical day at Camp Kirkwood includes a variety of activities from archery and canoeing to zip-lining and conquering scenic hiking trails. Our goal is to help your child grow mentally, physically and spiritually while they are with us. We strive to provide a safe and fun environment for campers to learn new sports and games, create arts and crafts, develop good sportsmanship, learn to be a team player, build new friendships, and learn how to have fun in healthy and creative ways.
Our camp environment provides a unique opportunity for teens to build leadership skills, particularly in assisting counselors with younger campers. The Y’s LIT program operates hand-in-hand with our Youth Day Camps providing young leaders the opportunity to mentor younger kids, participate in daily activities, and help counselors execute programming.

At the Y, we think summer fun, new friends and positive role models should be available to every child. That's why we provide scholarships to families who need help making camp a reality. If your family needs a little help, scholarships are available at our Membership Desk at the Express Y and are kept completely confidential. Funds are made possible because of the generous donations made through our Annual Giving Campaign. You can send a child to camp by making a tax-deductible gift online to the Y's Annual Giving Campaign.
