This is a challenging time for our community, state and country. COVID-19 (coronavirus) is a global pandemic and a national emergency, and nobody is certain what the days ahead hold.
In times of crisis, caring for our community is more important than ever. The Y is here to continue providing safe opportunities for people to stay active, engaged, and supported.
As our Y responds to the needs of our community, we ask that you retain your membership. While we know you’d prefer to be here with us, working out, attending classes, swimming in our pools, and spending time with other members, we ask that you stay with us – not simply as a facility member, but as a cause-driven member.
Even though our facility doors are closed right now, we are hard at work. Take a look at some of the resources below that the Y is offering to serve our members, our children, and our community during this difficult time.
We are working with community leaders to provide child care options for essential personnel - those who need it most. Learn More
We are supporting local feeding programs by transporting hundreds of meals daily to children throughout our community. Learn More
We continue to share resources to keep our members and participants safely connected, active and healthy during this time in spirit, mind and body, including access to the online workout video library. Learn More
With recent closures of schools, restaurants and many other businesses, families are adjusting to a new normal. We want to help you navigate through this crisis by helping to provide resources to better support your needs. Learn More
Following updated recommendations from the CDC, Governor Cooper, public school systems and our state and local health departments, we are temporarily suspending access to all YMCA branches, facilities and programs. This includes access to our branches, facilities and fields. Learn More
Please continue to check back here often for updates. Stay well. Stay with us.
