Looking for a meaningful, energizing way to spend your teacher workday? 

We’d love to invite you to a FREE educator professional learning experience at YMCA Camp Kirkwood.

This experience is designed with 5th grade educators in mind, as many of our outdoor education programs align naturally with upper elementary science standards, teamwork, and leadership skills—but all teachers and administrators are welcome to attend.

What You’ll Experience:

• Hands-on outdoor learning activities led by our education staff
• Clear connections to classroom curriculum, especially 5th grade science and SEL
• Team-building and leadership challenges educators can adapt for students
• An overview of our in-school programs, day trips, and overnight outdoor education experiences
• Practical ideas for making learning more engaging through experiential instruction
