Last summer, we finished renovating our 6-Lane Pool, and as part of this renovation project, we announced a fundraising campaign to build a new hot tub facility. This campaign was led by members and volunteers, and throughout this effort, a number of pool users, family and friends came together to make donations. Through those donations, our team was able to start the planning and permitting stages, and we are excited to announce that we are approved to start demo work on Monday, April 29.
During the planning process, we kept operation top of mind to allow members continued access to the 6-Lane Pool during construction. We will open the exterior wall of the hot tub space, which leads outdoors, so that all demo work can be conducted outside of our 6-Lane Pool area. There will be noise during certain time frames, but we will update you as we go through each stage.
During demo, we will open the exterior wall to allow for construction work and removal of the old hot tub.
Following the permit approval process, which takes anywhere between 30 to 90 days, new construction will begin.
We will provide updates as we start new construction, and we look forward to opening this new hot tub facility to our members this year!
