My favorite part of camp is watching campers do something brave — often small, personal moments that lead to big smiles, excited stories, or amazed tears. Those moments remind me why camp is so special. My favorite spot is the outdoor chapel because it’s peaceful, beautiful, and full of the sounds of camp. Camp matters to our community because it’s one of the last magical places where kids can truly be kids — swimming, exploring, laughing, and growing in confidence and character. Campfires, s’mores, and silly songs really do spark growth, helping kids build friendships, find support, and discover who they are.

My favorite part of camp is hanging by the campfire, singing silly songs, and making lasting friendships. My favorite spot is relaxing in a hammock by Cabin 7. Camp is important to our community because it offers a safe, welcoming space where everyone can grow, learn, and try new things. It builds strong bonds, helps young people gain confidence and empathy, and fosters a sense of belonging that carries far beyond camp. It truly shapes how we care for and support one another.

My favorite part of camp is watching campers grow through challenge, adventure, and connection in an unplugged, natural setting. I especially love the fishing pier. It overlooks the lake, offers beautiful views of camp, and feels like the perfect place for reflection and admiring God’s creation. Camp matters deeply to me because it gives youth and retreat groups a space to build courage, connection, and hope. I’ve seen incredible growth here — kids discovering new strengths and adults rediscovering the playful parts of themselves. I truly believe these experiences are essential for our communities.
