Connecting Neighbors: YMCA of Southeastern North Carolina Celebrates Welcoming Week
The YMCA of Southeastern North Carolina is joining YMCAs and organizations across the country to celebrate Welcoming Week, September 12–21, a national initiative created by Welcoming America that brings together immigrant and U.S.-born neighbors through local events that foster connection, cross-cultural understanding, and a greater sense of belonging.
Throughout the week, the Sampson County YMCA, Midtown YMCA, and Nir Family YMCA will host a variety of free, family-friendly activities that highlight community, culture, and wellness. All three branches will also open their doors to the public, inviting guests to take a tour, try the Y for free, and learn more about inclusive programs and membership services.
