Outdoor Pools Public Swim
A Partnership Between City of Wilmington and the YMCA
2026 Opening Date: May 23
This summer, the YMCA of Southeastern NC will be managing and operating the City of Wilmington's Legion Stadium and Robert Strange pools. Along with the traditional opportunity for public swim, the Y will be providing swim lessons, water aerobics, and a number of other aquatics programs to the community.
Open Weekends Only Beginning Saturday, May 23rd!

Friday-Sunday, May 23-25
Saturday-Sunday, May 30-31
Saturday-Sunday, June 6-7

Open Daily Beginning Monday, June 8th!
Open 7 Days a Week starting Monday, June 8th
12:00pm-5:00pm daily
Daily Entrance Fee — No Reservation Needed
Admission is FREE to YMCA members!*
Adults (18 & Older): $4.00/Day
Children (17 & Younger): $2.00/Day
*YMCA members, please bring membership card for access

Group Reservations
We have experienced a high volume of groups that are interested in reserving space at our city pools, and we are working hard to make sure that we can accommodate as many groups as possible. It is important to all of us at the Y that we give as many children as possible the opportunity to have safe fun in the water. Please click the button below to complete our reservation request form!
