A Partnership Between City of Wilmington and the YMCA

2024 Opening Dates: Memorial Day Weekend, May 25

This summer, the YMCA of Southeastern NC will be managing and operating the City of Wilmington's Legion Stadium and Robert Strange pools. Along with the traditional opportunity for public swim, the Y will be providing swim lessons, water aerobics, and a number of other aquatics programs to the community.

Group Reservations

We have experienced a high volume of groups that are interested in reserving space at our city pools, and we are working hard to make sure that we can accommodate as many groups as possible. It is important to all of us at the Y that we give as many children as possible the opportunity to have safe fun in the water. Age Policy

13 and Under: Required to be under adult supervision of someone 16+ years old

14 and Older: Do not need an adult and may bring siblings ages 7 and up, required to have parent/guardian fill out paperwork upon first visit

18 & Under: Required to have parent/guardian fill out registration paperwork upon first visit
