Children are like sponges- they absorb from everything and everyone around them. The Y believes the values and skills learned as a child are vital for future life success. That's why our staff understands the cognitive, physical and social development of kids. At the Y, babies develop trust and security, preschoolers experience early literacy and learn about their world, and school-aged kids make friends, learn new skills and the value of homework. Most importantly, children learn how to do their best. We believe confident kids today make for contributing and engaged adults tomorrow.
With a focus on safety, health, social growth and academic enhancement, the Y's Afterschool Care programs provides safe, enriching environments for students enrolled in Year-Round Elementary Schools, Traditional Elementary Schools and Middle Schools.
The Y offers free drop-in childcare for children 6 weeks to 12 years of age while mom and dad make use of the Y. Kids will enjoy playful, engaging activities, games, crafts and more!
The Nir Family YMCA is hosting Parents Night Out on the last Friday of each month for kids ages 3-15 years.
The Y's Preschool Program will provide an environment for preschoolers to learn, gain self-confidence and make new friends while enhancing your child's spiritual, physical, social, intellectual and emotional growth.
