Join us for the next fitness craze! Rowing utilizes nearly 84% of your body's muscle. It's a high-intensity, low-impact workout that will push your entire body.
These organized rowing classes lead by certified rowing instructors take place on Concept2 rowers. The workouts are 30-45 minutes in length, but, participants will always have the rowers, the room, and the certified instructor for up to 60 minutes. With only 7 rowers in our fleet, participants get ample one-on-one coaching during the small group session. Each class time must have a minimum of 4 pre-registered participants each month.
Program Fees$10/class if you sign up for the month in advance. $30-$50/month depending on the number of classes in that particular month. $15 Drop In*Drop in space is not guaranteed. Sign up to drop in at the front desk.

Learn proper rowing technique with the YMCA's certified rowing instructors! These free 30 minute learn-to-row sessions give participants a chance to be introduced in a safe, fun manner to indoor rowing. Space is limited, so sign up to reserve your space in these intro sessions. Sign up through the YMCA's Mobile App or through the YMCA's Group Ex Schedule page. We open sign ups for the 30 minute clinics 3 weeks prior to the class time and offer 3 spots on the waitlist. .

WHEN: Tuesdays 2:00pm - 3:00pm
WHAT: This program is designed to introduce indoor rowing to those with physical and/or mental disabilities. One-on-one caregivers are encouraged to attend and assist as needed.
Rowing coaches are YMCA group exercise instructors and personal trainers who are also certified in indoor rowing. Many of our rowing instructors also have experience in the competitive world of on-water rowing.
Our staff have been working around the clock to prepare to launch this exciting new program! YMCA membership is not required to participate.
WHY: Rowing is a great way to increase fitness levels, participate in a fun, group activity and build confidence in their skills.
Sign up at the Welcome Desk or online. You must sign up for the full 5-week program and be able to attend regularly. Class size is limited to 7 participants.
