Kids & Family Fitness

At the Y, we provide fitness opportunities for everyone! Introduce your kids to fitness through fun, high-energy group exercise classes they'll love. Classes are free for members and all fitness levels are welcome!

Youth Fitness Information

Current Class Schedule


Kids & Family Classes:
Kids Yoga & Boot Camp
Children and parents can exercise together in this beginner-level yoga and boot camp combination.
Kids Zumba 
This family friendly Zumba class combines fun and fitness using basic dance moves designed for kids.
Zumba Family (Ages 5+ Only)
This family friendly Zumba is for kids 5 years and older with adult participation.
Kids Cardio & Pump (Ages 8-12 Only)
A playful blend of cardio and strength conditioning exercises.
Group Exercise Age Policies:
Ages 2-4: may participate in Kids & Family Classes with a supervising guardian
Ages 5-12: may participate in Kids & Family Classes without a supervising guardian
Ages 8-12: may participate in adult group exercise classes with a supervising guardian
Youth & Teen Certification for Express Y
Youth ages 10-12 years who wish to use the cardio & selectorized equipment must become Youth Certified before doing so. Parents are required to be on premise and are encouraged to assist their kids when using equipment.
Teens ages 13-15 years may use the cardio selectorized and free weights after becoming teen certified.
