Get Your Ducks In A Row

It's time to set your routine! Each day you scan in at the Y, you'll get 1 point in the app, and you can stop by the welcome desk and move your duck one spot. All those who make it to the finish line (16 visits) will be entered for the chance to win Y swag!

Join the challenge in our YMCA of Southeastern NC app. Go to the Challenges section to find the Duck Challenge. Don't forget to stop by the Welcome desk to pick up your duck and place it in the pond!

100-Mile Swim Club

Ready to make a splash? The 100-Mile Swim Club is a self-paced challenge that encourages swimmers to stay active, build endurance, and have fun while logging 100 miles in the pool. 

When

January 1 - December 31, 2026

Track

Track your miles weekly in the Y app or on a paper tracker sheet available at Nir Family YMCA!

33 laps/66 lengths = 1 mile
Pool Length = 25 yards
Pool Lap = 50 yards

Prizes will be given out at the completion of 50 and 100 miles!


Grow Into Group Exercise

Take 15 group exercise classes between April 1 and May 15 to complete the challenge and become eligible for drawings for a FREE MyZone Heart Rate Monitor ($150 value), Y swag or a portable Y Grill for those summer BBQ's!

Join the YMCA’s 12 Days of Fitmas Wellness Challenge, where each day brings a new healthy habit or fun exercise to keep you moving, mindful, and motivated. From festive workouts to self-care challenges, you’ll stay active, balanced, and full of holiday cheer all season long. And don’t miss Day 12’s special Santa’s Workout, posted here and on the wellness floor — a jolly finale to wrap up your Fitmas journey!
