Y-Zone is the YMCA's state-of-the-art, small group personal training program. In a 1200 square foot studio at the Nir Family YMCA, participants choose from 2 different Y-Zone programs. The programs integrate heart rate monitoring from MyZone.
Y-ZONE 3 MONTH CHALLENGE
Step up your game and transform your cardiovascular and strength training. Our Y-Zone challenge is 3 months of commitment with all the elements you are looking for: CHALLENGING WORKOUTS, FUN WITH FRIENDS, COMPETITIVE MYZONE TECHNOLOGY. AND PRIZES, PRIZES, PRIZES. We will be giving away large insulated stainless tumbler, Y Canvas Bags and 1 Free Month Y-Zone classes
DON'T MISS IT! Space is limited to 12 persons per class. Sign up today and reserve your spot. Register for any one class for March, April and May and automatically be entered into the challenge. You will receive a FREE color-changing water bottle at your first class. Loaner MyZone heart rate monitors are available for your use or you can purchase your own.

Y-Zone Workout Parties
Burn calories and have some competitive fun with our MyZone Heart Rate Monitors and Y-Zone BURN workouts! We are now offering Y-Zone Workout Parties for special events and occasions! Whether you are interested in getting fit for an upcoming wedding or celebrating a birthday, we can help you plan your perfect workout party. Who is Y-Zone Designed For?
Y-Zone programs are for all fitness levels. Sessions provide the right intensity to take your fitness to the “next level.” Because your workout is guided by your heart rate, your session will be tailored to your individual fitness level. And, you have the support and attention of a coach to help you reach your goals.
Y-Zone Classes
BURN
Looking to take your workouts to a whole new level? Burn is the answer. This 45 minute high intensity workout will focus on challenging muscular and cardiovascular strength and endurance. Incorporating a series of total body movements and cardio will activate multiple muscle groups, this metabolic workout is a game changer to reach your fitness goals.
CIRCUIT
Want to achieve maximum results with less impact on the joints? Circuit is the answer. We will provide a unique full-body workout that helps you to work all areas of the body. This program will help you move better, lose weight and strength/tone your muscle. Delivered in a fun and energetic way, you’ll love what Circuit has to offer.

What Does It Cost to Participate?
$10 per class/Y members (paid monthly)

Class Logistics
Required: Participants may use the first 15 minutes of class to warm up on our one-of-a-kind equipment, stretch or perform our benchmark exercises. First time participants must arrive on time in order to get the MyZone monitor registered/fitted as well as to orient to the room. If a participant does not arrive on time for their first class are given two options. One, to defer their first class to the following week or proceed with the first class without the heart rate monitoring.
Not Required: MyZone MZ3 or MZ-Switch Heart Rate Monitor. We will have loaners available for class, however we encourage participants to invest in their own monitor. Monitors are not required for participation in the program.
